democracy
I can't stop thinking about Barack Obama's speech today. It was moving, inspiring and VERY much needed. You can watch it here if you missed it.
I'm from Canada, not the US, so some may tell me to stay out of American politics. But many of the decisions made by Trump's administration affect the rest of the world, including (and especially) Canada. So I won't be quiet, or indifferent. Regardless, Obama's message is a universal one, and relevant to EVERYONE.
But hey, what's even better than writing about it on a blog is VOTING. If you are lucky enough to live in democracy, you have that power. So the next time there's an election where we live, whether it's at the municipal, county, provincial, state, or federal level, we need to get informed, get involved, and VOTE. It matters.
