I made this drawing for an activist tool kit put together by Silent Book Club. It's a set of 10 postcards by 10 artists, and comes with instructions on how to reach government representatives in Washington, DC. The other artists in the set include: Lisa Congdon, Jane Mount, Micah Player, Leah Rosenberg, Lisa Solomon, Nadine Appenbrink, Brittany Truex, and more.
All proceeds benefit non-profit organizations that fight for first amendment rights.

Well here's something new...
We made printable Valentines! This is a new collection of drawings made specifically for Valentine's day, all in one PDF file. Print, cut them out, sign, and share them with friends, co-workers, family and your loved ones.
I know that Valentine's Day may not be on your mind (yet), since there's plenty of other stuff to worry about. But February 14th is coming no matter what, and this might be a fun, easy way to share some love and/or silliness.
We were inspired by the valentines that kids hand out to everyone in their classroom. And although these are great for kids, they're kind of fun for grownups too.
So, why would I make print-your-own instead of selling actual cards? Well, we figured most Valentine's purchases were last minute, so making cards that you had to order and wait to arrive in the mail was too much. This way you can use them as soon as you buy them.
It's hard to know what to draw or write about during these uncertain, less-than-fantastic times.
This is all I could come up with for now (confused, dumbfounded, angry, fired up). Not that I want or need to comment on the goings-on of the world every time I pick up a pen. That would be exhausting. But sometimes events compel us to say something, to make a little noise, so here's mine.
BTW, my friend Paul Jarvis wrote something thoughtful on the subject that's worth a read.
This is another one of the six $40 drawings I'm offering. I've extended the deadline to Dec 11th, because folks have asked me to!
Yes, I will draw (and paint) this for you for $40. Get this one here.

Now more than ever the world needs us to shine, to bring light to a dark world, to share our gifts, our voice, our passions, to bring a little bit of YOU, glorious YOU to the party. Don't you think?
Yes! I'm offering original drawings for just 40 dollars each, for a limited time. Get them here.
These are multiple originals, meaning that I will draw & paint multiples of each piece. I'll make each one to order, and sign it. But after December 4, that's it, no more.
I've done this a couple of times over the last 2 years. I love the idea of getting an original piece of art into your hands for an affordable price. Doing multiples allows me to make that happen.
These are made with the same artist-quality materials that I use for my other artworks.
I don't want to rush you, but don't wait too long to get one (or two). I'm only taking orders til Dec. 4!
My very first wall calendar!
This is something we've been working on for weeks and weeks in the studio. Each month is printed on an individual sheet, and the whole calendar is held together with a silver binding clip. This allows you to put the current month in the front, remove individual pages and use them as prints, or display them however you want.
Use the included clip to hang it on a wall, or pin it to a cork board or cubicle divider.
The calendar is printed right here in Victoria, Canada by some really nice people.
It's kind of like getting 12 prints for $25.
I can ship these anywhere in the world. I tried to keep the price of the calendar reasonable, especially to offset shipping charges that can be a little high for my overseas friends.
I'm really happy with how these turned out, and it gives me some gusto to make more things.

A song, a story, a drawing, a painting, a design, a video... If it's floating around your head for more than a day, it probably needs to get out. Share it. Give us a tiny peek. We'd really love to see it.
(By the way, when I share advice and/or encouragement like this, it's usually because I need to hear it too. I've got all kinds of crazy ideas rattling around my head for far too long that need to get out.)
